Who is responsible
This website is run by Shiva Boloorian, Vienna, Austria. For any question about your data, write to contact@shivaboloorian.com.
Visiting the site
When you visit, the server processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not keep logs of visits.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts and images are served from our own server. Links to social networks are plain links: nothing is sent to those networks unless you follow one.
Contact form and email
If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we use your name, email address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about working together, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Giving these details is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply. We delete messages once the conversation is finished, at the latest after one year.
Videos
Videos from YouTube or Vimeo are only loaded after you press play. By pressing play you agree that the video platform receives data from your browser, such as your IP address (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). From then on its own privacy policy applies, and it may process data outside the EU, including in the USA.
Service providers
Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf. The email provider may also process data outside the EU, including in the USA. These transfers rely on an EU adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) and EU standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time for the future. To use these rights, write to contact@shivaboloorian.com. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
